Wire brush filament is used when a stronger action burr removing brush is needed and for larger size burrs. These brushes remove burrs and can also be used to remove thin shavings and small protrusions in the surface. Our wire brush filament includes stainless steel and carbon steel filament. The one drawback of these brushes is the finish is not as smooth and machined pieces that are smooth may be roughened by the use of wire deburring brushes.
